Google-Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) announces bid for procurement from 500 MW wind-solar hybrid projects.
-The green shoe option allows for an additional capacity of up to 500 MW through a tariff-based bidding process.
-Bid document available on MSEDCL portal; pre-bid meeting scheduled for March 20, 2024, with bid submission deadline on April 4, 2024.
-Processing fee of Rs. 15 Lakhs plus applicable GST required for each bid, along with earnest money deposit of 11 lakh/MW in the form of a Bank Guarantee.
-Earlier, MSEDCL approved the procurement of 7783 MW on a long-term basis from solar generators, with additional power of up to 2000 MW allowed under subsequent rounds of bidding.
